More rhinoceros

Rhinoceros I always think nice to draw. Here is an other one!

(Also penguins apparently are a nice theme to draw!)

To be a Penguin or not to be a Penguin

"Penguin in snow and ice landscape."

I think it always fascinating to see that a drawing suggests a complete object, or in this case, a complete animal, while in fact not the complete object or animal is shown.

Platypus stamps!

Last Friday was a happy 'mail day'. A nice holiday postcard arrived from Eva. And to my relief I learnt by a message from Adamandia that my fish-on-tv hadn't been lost in the post, as I thought before.
And my friend Linda Robertus sent me some rubber stamps of Australian animals - thanks a lot, Linda!
And to my big surprise these stamps were packed in an envelope full of postage stamps (despite this there was even room for three mail/customs stickers!). Among them stamps showing a lighthouse (sorry Eva, the coming time I'll keep this envelope complete, I even opened it carefully, on the back side, in order not to 'disturb' the stamps). And stamps showing the Platypus! How attentive, thank you very much, Linda!

And inside the envelope - besides the rubberstamps which you'll once see on my outgoing mail - a beautiful photo of an Australian Crow Butterfly, pictured by Linda.
See more photos by Linda on her photoblog. And some of her 'fabric art' on this website.

Added to and returned (2): E-mail art

I appear to be rather slow in replying to add-and-return projects in snail mail. Meanwhile I surprised myself (and maybe dear Fraenz Frisch, too) by replying to this email add-and-return request within a few hours!
This collage has been composed by Keith Bates, Fraenz himself, RCBz, Paul Tiililä and me.

More information about this, recently started, e-mail art project by Fraenz Frisch you can read here.
