Otto & Venus

I was surprised with this mail art, spontaneous sent to me from Germany, made by the historian in culture & art and collARTagist Roland Halbritter.
The sculpture now is named the Venus von Arheilgen, and was made approximately 7000 years ago.

More Venus-of-Arheilgen versions, also with contributions of Heinz W. Lotz and Angela Behrendt, you can find on Roland Halbritter's website.

Dank, thank you, Danke, Roland!

The second card Roland sent me as an answer to my Otto photoalbum. Below you see the user manual I sent together with the album. The two-pages photoalbum itself you can find on the Bismarck Mail Art blog.

Postcrossend huisdier

Our neighbours, some houses further on, had a puppy. Now, months later, the puppy is no longer a puppy, but has developed into a weird, amazing four-footer. He appears to be a bulldog!
Never before I had watched these animals that closely, until I read a postcrosser mentioned bulldogs in his profile, so I made a study on them. It indeed is an amazing animal. (Hopefully someone else will draw/paint 'm for the Odd Existing Animals mail art project.)
