Als dank voor mijn bijdrage aan het Mail Art project 'Verzamelen' ontving ik deze mooie collage van items die de post toevoegt aan verstuurde objecten. Dit soort extra boodschappen zijn de krenten in de pap voor post- en mail art liefhebbers!
De Mail Art tentoonstelling loopt nog tot september 2011, en is voor mensen die geïnteresseerd zijn in post- en mail art beslist de moeite van 'n kijkje nemen waard. Niet alleen vanwege de 600 werken van 440 kunstenaars uit 38 landen, maar ook vanwege mail art en fluxus items uit de jaren zestig, die een stukje van de lange mail art geschiedenis vertellen.
Plaats: Bibliotheek van het Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven. Toegang bibliotheek gratis.

As a 'thank you' for my contribution to the Mail Art project 'Collecting' I received this beautiful collage of postal items. Items the post uses to add to sent objects. A 'must' for post- and mail art fans, these added messages!
The Mail Art exhibition can be seen until September 2011. If you are interested in post and mail art, it's definitely worth while to take a look. Not only for the 600 works of art made by 440 artists from 38 countries, but also because of mail art and fluxus documents from the 60's, who tell a part of the long mail art history.
