Mole 'out', Snail 'in'! Received from Mariza from the Netherlands, this 3D Snail Mail postcard. See how the post company managed to put the canceling stamp on the right place! I always wonder how the stamping machine would have done this.
See for more work by Mariza her website, with the inviting title 'Send me some snail mail'!

Hartelijk dank, Mariza!

The card was an answer to this envelope (and card) of one of my favourite-to-draw-animals.

Yes! 'Life underground' online!

Goed nieuws!

Yes! A few months ago I completed a 'Sketchbook Project' sketchbook, titled 'Life underground', and returned it to the American organisation Art House Co-op. The good news is not only that the sketchbook arrived safely, but also the fact that it can be seen online, since today!

I feel happy to see my sketchbook back again, and to know that also other people can see it.
If you're interested, and of course I'd like to share it with you: the book is 'filed' under this url (nowadays you need to create a (free) account and log in to open and see this library).

As the pages are a bit stairs-like - while the ground was drawn flat - I put a few pages, here, too.
