Bijna een jaar na 't versturen van m'n eerste mail art uil is er weer een goede reden om een uil te maken en per post te versturen.
Ontketend. De sneeuwuil is en heeft ~ ...

Almost a year after sending my first mail art owl, again there's a reason to make and send one.
'Ontketend' means 'unchained', in both meanings: un-chain and launch.

Komt dat even goed uit, dat mijn bijdrage aan TicTac's mail art project Message in a Bottle in het water gevallen was!

The Parrot

De potloodschets bleef te lang liggen en was uiteindelijk te laat voor het Nick Bantock mail art project. Dus maar afgemaakt op de vertrouwde manier en in rood en zwart om naar Frankrijk te sturen.

The pencil sketch was ready but it took many months to be finished with pen and colour. Finally too late for the Nick Bantock mail art project. So I finished it my own way, and in red and black to send this Parrot to France.

(De mooiste prijs is natuurlijk een plaatsje tussen alle mail art kunstenaars op de eregalerij van "E"!) (The best, coolest prize of course is to get room between all mail artists on the gallery of honour of Utopia's Embassador, "E"!)

I'm always amazed and admiring how Ptrzia/TicTac makes such sharp pictures of the contributions. I received your documentation with a lot of pleasure, Ptrzia!

De wolf en de drie biggetjes

Als kind zag ik sprookjes als normale kinderverhalen. Pas nu merk ik hoeveel wreeds er in die 'onschuldige' sprookjes huist.
Dus... Wat anders te doen dan de wolf en drie biggetjes gebroederlijk bij elkaar tekenen?

As a child I thought fairytales were normal stories. Now I'm a little older I realize how much cruelty is in these 'innocent' stories.
So... What else to do than draw the wolf and the three little pigs amicably together?
